I am an environmental social scientist at the\nUniversity of Santiago de Compostela where I explore the interactions between\npeople and nature. Specifically, my research focuses on the relationships\nbetween human well-being and the marine environment, cultural ecosystem\nservices and small-scale fisheries governance. I am an active member of several\ninternational working groups on marine ecosystem services such as the Ecosystem\nServices Partnership (ESP), the International Council for the Exploration of\nthe Sea (ICES), and OceanGov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
